These policies describe the engagements of the Seller and the Customer. The Seller is

The Customer is the individual ordering on www.folkeshi.com.

The policies are executed both in French and English, with the same legal binding force. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the French version shall prevail.

#PRICES
The prices are indicated in euros. They do not include any custom fees. The Seller may adjust their pricing at any time.

#PROCESSING TIME

The Seller ships the order within 1 up to 7 business days. If the Customer needs a rushed shipping, he may contact the Seller through the contact form.

Said processing time may be delayed for any cause placing the Seller in the impossibility to fulfill his obligations, especially in case of Force majeure. In these policies, Force majeure describe all situations over which the Seller cannot reasonably have any measure of control, such as, but not exclusively, a strike, an embargo, a natural disaster, a fire, or similar situations such as an unforeseen breakdown in the manufacturing process.

The Seller has the right to refuse an order.

#PAYMENT
Payment is done by credit card. The Seller will not receive the Customer's credit card informations: everything is managed by Stripe. The Customer data are protected by SSL protocol.

#SHIPPING
The shipping fees are automatically calculated, depending on the destination. All kokeshi orders ship from France, with tracking. Those with only books or stationery product are sent by regular mail, from France as well.
The Seller propose different shipping methods according to the Customer delivery address, as follow:
France: Colissimo France or Colissimo France signature. Both have a tracking service. The signature option ensures that the parcel is delivered one-to-one.
Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Portugal,United Kingdom, Italy, and Ireland: Petit Paquet International. Indicative delay for Petit Paquet International is 2-10 business days. With a tracking service.
Colissimo International is a more expensive option, but comes tracked and insured.
Bulgaria, Cyprus, Danemark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Lettonia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovaquia, Slovenia, Sweden, Swiss, Australia, United States of America, Canada, Hong-Kong, Japan, Singapour and Thaïland: Petit Paquet International has a tracking service. 2-20 business days are needed for the delivery.
Colissimo International is a more expensive option, but comes tracked and insured.

#SHIPPING ADDRESS
The Seller will send the items at the address given by the Customer during check-out. Please check and make sure it is the right one!

#COMBINED SHIPPING
Shipping fees are a fixed amount - no surprises at check-out. A worldwide delivery is 7€, no matter the volume of your order. The Customer can upgrade the shipping to fully insured, at a higher cost.

#DELIVERY
All our delivery options include tracking, except for stationery items and books. Here are average delay (in business days) as stated by the French postal services:

With Colissimo France: 2 business days after shipping.
With Petit Paquet Europe or Monde: 2 to 20 business days after shipping.

All delivery processing time are stated as indications given by postal services. The Seller can not engage his responsability on them.

#CUSTOMS FEES
The Seller adhere to accurate customs declaration. Customs charges may apply, depending on the total shopping amount and the Customer's country legislation. Any custom fees are at the charge of the Customer.

#VINTAGE ITEMS
Folkeshi's kokeshi are sometimes vintage items - if so, this is stated in the Item description. Scars, discolorations, and such telltales are part of the item's past.
The Seller describe them precisely and the pictures show the main flaws; but mistakes can occur. If the Customer receive a kokeshi that differs a lot from its description, the Seller will reimburse the item and the return costs upon seeing pictures and proof of return expedition.

#DAMAGES DURING SHIPMENT
If the Customer receive the products broken or damaged because of problems during shipment, he may contact the Seller to find together an arrangement.

#RESPONSIBILITY
The items sold on folkeshi.com, and especially the kokeshi dolls, are not toys, nor made to be played with or used by children. They are collectors items, to be employed as decorative products.
Our responsibility can not be engaged for any damage caused by a normal use of our products.

#RETRACTATION RIGHT
According to the French law, the Customer based in Europe can change their mind about their order in a period of time of 14 days, starting from the day after the delivery. The Seller will reimburse the item and the order shipping fees under 72 hours after the item made it back to the Seller (or after the Customer send him proof of expedition). The return shipping costs (from the Customer to the Buyer) are to be assumed by the Customer. The Customer will notice the Seller of his choice to retract through the contact form, stating their name, the amount of the order and mentioning the retractation right.

#COOKIES
This website uses two different kinds of cookies. Some are absolutely necessary for the Customer to browse the shop, and place an order. Browsing folkeshi.com means accepting these cookies. However, some others are employed to let the Seller get statistics about the use of this website, such as the most consulted pages, the traffic sources, etc. You may refuse the use of these cookies by not dismissing the cookie banner.

#PRIVACY POLICY

The website www.folkeshi.com collects only personal data that are given with full consent, are non-sensible, and absolutely necessary to their activities :

> name and e-mail address, through the Contact Form: we keep this data for 1 year, in order to answer your questions, and follow-up with your personal searches and requests.
> name and e-mail address, through the Newsletter Subscription Form. These data are used to send you informative emails and marketing ones (new adds on the website, new collaborations with artisans...), at your request. This data are kept and employed until your unsuscribe from our e-mails, which can be done through a link accessible in each of our newsletters.
> name, e-mail address, phone number and postal address, filled at the checkout. We need these data in order to ship your parcel. These data are kept on our customer billing for 10 years after the end of the accounting year, for fiscality reference; but they are not accessed or exploited after 1 year after your order.
Your data cannot be sold, except in an hypothetic cession of Folkeshi.

Our partners Stripe (online payments), Mailchimp (autoresponder) et La Poste (transportation) have access to the data strictly necessary for their activities. They, too, comply to the Eurepean legislation about personal data, GPDR.

If you wish to access, modify or delete your personal data kept by Folkeshi, please send a message at folkeshi (at) gmail.com, mentioning « personal data » in your e-mail subject.

#CARE
Kokeshi dolls do not like humidity, water or sunrays! Please protect them from direct sunlight. To remove dust, please use a dry cloth to wipe them.
