Cette kokeshi aux cheveux noirs coupés en carré court est particulièrement élégante ! Elle est teinte en dégradé de rose, et sur cette base transparente, qui laisse voir le grain du bois, l’artiste a peint des hortensias.
J’aime beaucoup cette forme douce et élancée, et le contraste offert par la bouche très rouge !
Cette pièce unique est le travail de Réka Toth-Vasarhelyi, une artiste hongroise dont les kokeshi ont été plusieurs fois récompensées au Japon.

This kokeshi, with her black hair cut into a short bob, is particularly elegant! She's dressed in bamboo painted in the sumi-e style, in shades of grey and black, with a minimalist touch. I love this soft, slender shape.
The headpiece is adorned with a detail of bamboo foliage.
This one-of-a-kind is the work of Réka Toth-Vasarhelyi, an Hungarian artist whose kokeshi have been awarded several times in Japan.
