Trois chrysanthèmes empilés pour cette kokeshi traditionnelle. Leur tracé abstrait, peint sur un corps sans fioriture (les rayures habituelles ont disparu pour de simples rainures dans le bois), leur donne un style intemporel que j’apprécie particulièrement.
Oonuma Hideaki emploie dans son travail l'ensemble des formes et motifs typiques du style traditionnel Naruko, fondé par sa famille il y a six générations.

Three chrysanthemums stacked together for this traditional kokeshi. Their abstract design, painted on a plain body (the usual stripes have disappeared for simple grooves in the wood), gives them a timeless style that I particularly appreciate.
Oonuma Hideaki uses all shapes and patterns typical of Naruko style, started by his family six generations ago.
